Rumors are rife that the next release of Xbox 360 will be six times powerful than the present version. In this generation of consoles, it seems to be a pretty small advancement.
More importantly, Radeon HD 6670 graphic card of AMD will be used for that Xbox. This graphic card is pretty cheap in markets outside the US and costs around 64.75 pounds. This card is supported by Direct X II and has an output to support multi display like 1080p HD and 3D. Still, it is nowhere near the latest technology.
Sources of ING website say that Xbox 720 will perform 20% better than the Wii U. This also looks very minor and can hardly be distinguished. As spread by the speculations, the kits will be developed in the month of August and the console will be launched in October or November this year.
This automatically says that the next release of Xbox 360 will take place during E3 2012 which is scheduled in June. However, Microsoft has no plans for the next generation. It seems that the console will be cheap and can be every one’s device, provided the development costs of games do not inflate the price. Because game developers are little worried that generally it costs more to develop a game for such powerful consoles.
